Meet Azia

Certified Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, Diastasis Consultant & Coach

Hey Girl,  I’m Azia Johner!

I’ve always had a motivating and helpful heart for all. My entire schooling and career has been in rehabilitation and exercise. After the birth of my first child I realized something and made a big change.

After all the doctor visits and "mommy info" possibly taken in, I amazingly still knew very little about my body! With a surprise c section the questions "how" and "why" kept playing in my mind while beginning to care for this sweet baby girl.

In the prenatal world, there are so many explanations about birthing phases: labor pains, water braking, discomforts, pooping, and tears. But how about what's happening internally to the core and pelvic floor!? What's natural and what's not? What signs are "warning signs"? Honestly , I was in awe. I didn’t know the pelvic floor was part of the core and I COULD control it. If I didn’t know that,  then I definitely didn’t know about diastisis, incontinence, and prolapse!

Were you sent home to take it easy?  Then at 6 weeks all is suppose to be good! Umm NO. Easy is far fetched.

A mother's day consist of squatting, lifting, bending, reaching... and let's not forget tending to yourself. Welcome to motherhood!

My mind was blown at the disconnect between what the doctors said and what truly happens at home. This confusion led me to my research journey.

Six weeks post, I started a workout program, finished it, and ended with no results. I was devastated. My gut said, "there had to be another way to restore my body". And there was!

Through years of research and training, I became a certified Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercises Specialist & Pre and Postnatal Diastasis and Core Consultant. This was the rehabilitation and education I needed to heal my body. I learned where the imbalances and misfires were and how to fix them in my favor. Training my mind to automatically contract and relax my core and pelvic floor were key.

Five years later my husband and I were ready for baby number #2. This time around was a completely different journey -- as is each pregnancy. The best part, I didn't go in clueless. I was my own advocate! Were there surprises, yes, but my body knew how to react accordingly.

The nurses were shocked by my diaphragmatic breathing and thats when I knew my research and training had paid off. Talk about empowerment!

Listen Up! Every woman - not just mommas, deserve to know this preventative and restorative process. I'm elated to share The Climb process with you.
